S.Café® – the new fabric made from recycled coffee.

With this in mind, the Schöffel product management team is constantly on the lookout for new solutions, always with the aim of offering the best possible comfort. One of the materials used by Schöffel in the Active collection is a renewable natural product – coffee. 
 
As a drink, it’s reviving; as a textile component used in clothing, it offers functional properties, which meet Schöffel’s high quality demands in a natural way. S.Café® fabric is a technical composite fibre made from recycled coffee grounds and partly from recycled PES. The natural product offers natural added value, suppressing odours and ensuring a pleasant feel on the skin, even for multi-day activities. 
 
Featuring 2.5 layer VENTURI fabric, the Jacket Neufundland2 for women and the Jacket Toronto2 for men also have an impressively low weight. The recycled coffee grounds are applied as a print to the inside of the jackets using P4DRY technology. Practical: the functional jackets can be packed away small in integrated pack-away pockets.
