Product description

The KAMLOOP is a helmet for rides through the Alps, biking uphill, winding trails and technical passages and offers optimal ventilation.

The inmold construction of the MTB helmet is secure and lightweight. The Hi-EPS material ensures that, in the event of a crash, the forces that occur are absorbed and the head remains uninjured to the greatest possible extent. When it comes to biking, sweat is a badge of honour: for performance, power and courage. The Kamloop doesn't want to take this badge of honour away from you, just keep your head cool for as long as possible with specially designed helmet ventilation. An optimised fit and a wide range of adjustment options as well as other comfort features ensure maximum comfort when worn.

Technical data

3D Fit
3D Fit:

The height of the Run-System at the back of the head can be adjusted using the 3D-Fit System. The helmet can be perfectly adapted to the head in a five-point gradation system. This improves comfort when wearing, safety and accuracy of fit.

Ergomatic
Ergomatic:

Proven a hundred thousand times over and used on all Alpina helmets: the strap buckle with the red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up the mountain and tighten it for downhill - and in a fall the locking mechanism cannot open automatically.

Custom Fit
Custom Fit:

Custom Fit is an adjustment system at the back of the head that allows you to adjust the height of the Run System in several steps. This allows the optimal fit of the helmet to be adjusted for a wide variety of head shapes. Pressure marks are a thing of the past, the helmet sits perfectly on the head and safety is improved.

Y-Clip
Y-Clip:

The Y-Clip connects the front and rear straps beneath the ear. Opening the clip enables the straps to be adjusted easily for a perfect fit.

Airflow Vents
Airflow Vents:

One factor that greatly influences comfort when wearing is the ventilation of the helmet. The strategically sensible arrangement of the vents is crucial for optimum ventilation of the interior. The air is directed into the interior, guided around the head and can flow out again at the back. The head is therefore comfortably air-conditioned at all times.

Hi-EPS
Hi-EPS:

The inner shell of all Inmold helmets consists of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). It is made up of a large number of microscopic air pockets which absorb the impact forces that act in a crash. In addition, HI-EPS absorbs neither water nor perspiration.

Inmold Tec
Inmold Tec:

In the production process for Inmold helmets the inner shell is foam-injected underneath the outer shell under high heat. Thanks to the complete fusion of the upper and lower shells Inmold helmets are extremely stable and very light. In addition, they offer clearly more safety than spot-glued helmets.

Ceramic Shell
Ceramic Shell:

All Alpina helmets that are manufactured using the inmold process have a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under high heat to the shape of the future helmet and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body with high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic Shell is characterized by several qualities: It is break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.

Edge Protect
Edge Protect:

Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate plate that give inmold helmets a touch of refinement. It covers the edges on the underside of the helmet. This protects the Hi-EPS and increases the helmet's durability.
