The Atomic Cloud Q11 makes an on-piste ski day that much more fun for intermediate to advanced female skiers.
Multi Radius Sidecut and a generous 79mm waist combine to make Atomic’s All-Condition Piste Shape, creating enough versatility to let your skis guide you where they want to go on, from mellow groomers to wide-open bowls. Put the skis on edge and draw long arcs across fresh corduroy or tighten things up with quick, agile turns through late-afternoon slush. You’re in charge of the turn shape and speed. Dura Cap Sidewall construction keeps edge hold solid and reliable, while the Flite Woodcore and TI Powered laminate create a responsive and smooth ride in any conditions on the groomers. You’ll take the Cloud Q11 from speedy morning runs to easy afternoon cruisers. Multi Radius Sidecut and extra width underfoot for stability and confidence-inspiring handling. With Active Camber, more of the ski’s edge length stays in contact with the snow. This creates better grip on icy slopes and makes the ski super stable.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A dull edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and will skid through a turn. An edge that is too sharp will grab and catch the snow surface creating unstable performance. The Atomic skis are prepared with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from the Atomic factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise base edge bevel for specific performance characteristics. Base edge angles between 0.8° and 1.6° lightly lift the ski edges off the snow for easy turning while maintaining edge grip and tracking throughout the turn.
