Atomic has packed the Atomic Redster J2 130-150 with exciting features including an Atomic Race Rocker and 68mm waist.
It makes edge switching super fast and provides unbelievable performance on all terrain. We’ve also incorporated Atomic’s innovative Bend-X Technology – a special flex zone in the binding area that enables even the lightest kids to bend their skis and get strong contact with the snow for better turns. An ideal ski to get budding skiers hooked on carving. A structured topsheet massively increases durability and gives a high quality finish. No-sidewall construction where the top sheet folds down over the edges. Durable and easy to handle. A special flex zone underfoot so light skiers and children can bend the ski for easy turning. Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A dull edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and will skid through a turn. An edge that is too sharp will grab and catch the snow surface creating unstable performance. The Atomic skis are prepared with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from the Atomic factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise base edge bevel for specific performance characteristics. Base edge angles between 0.8° and 1.6° lightly lift the ski edges off the snow for easy turning while maintaining edge grip and tracking throughout the turn.
