Product description

**Ski touring light - completely different. **

Secure hold in downhill skiing without blocking, with progressive power transmission and reliable release, very easy to handle and only 280 g per unit.

The light weight, the easy step-in and the practical operation make the Xenic an exceptionally agile binding for ski tours in any terrain. The innovative front unit with horizontally moving pin levers provides a secure hold in front. The exceptionally wide heel support in back ensures perfect control of the skis. With these features it is ideal, also for beginners’, juniors, elderly ski tourers requesting very low DIN-settings.

With the Xenic, long ascents, difficult routes are effortless and easy to master and the peaks can be reached quickly. Unique in the lightweight category, it also makes the descent a pleasure. With always secure grip, safe ski guidance and a reliable release in any skiing situation.

Please refer to the Fritschi compatibility table! Here you can see if your ski boot is compatible with the binding. Compatibility table

You are just ordering these bindings without the skis?
Please inquire which width your ski has in the middle.
If you are insecure or your ski is out of the designated widths, our ski hotline will advise you.
Depending on the ski boot size and sidecut of your ski, the mounting point of the binding may change and thus the width of the ski may differ below the stopper.

Technical data
Easy step-in with fixed stop and broad pedal
Easy step-in with fixed stop and broad pedal:

The tip of the boot is optimally positioned by means of a fixed stop and a positioning guide. In response to even slight pressure on the broad step-in pedal the pin levers shift horizontally inward and quickly and precisely engage in the inserts of the boots.

Sophisticated technology for easy use
Sophisticated technology for easy use:

Sophisticated technology for easy use

Using the climbing aid as a lever the Xenic 10 can very easily be changed from the downhill to the uphill position with just half a turn of the heel. The stopper locks automatically on the first step.

The walk-mode levels of 2° and 11° and the climbing aid, which is controllable with the pole, provide absolute ergonomic comfort in climbing uphill

Secure hold in downhill skiing without blocking
Secure hold in downhill skiing without blocking:

The pin levers of the innovative frontal unit shift hori-zontally and thus absorb vertically acting forces. An unintended release caused by shocks from the bottom is prevented without the need to block the system while skiing downhill.

Individual and infinitely adjustable setting of the lateral and vertical release
Individual and infinitely adjustable setting of the lateral and vertical release:

A frontal release is subject to significantly higher forces than a lateral release. To function properly, separate mechanisms are required with appropriately designed, infinitely adjustable springs.

Reliable release in any situation
Reliable release in any situation:

The elasticity of 10 mm for the ski via length compen-sation applies constant pressure to the system, even when the skis are considerably flexed. This ensures a reliable release based on the settings in any situation.

Complete, well-timed release in case of a forward fall
Complete, well-timed release in case of a forward fall:

When the heel is released the boot tips forward. Only the bindings from Fritschi will then also release the boot in the frontal unit at the right time, between an angle of approx. 65° to 75°, depending on the form of the boot’s front.

Direct power transmission for easy control over the skis
Direct power transmission for easy control over the skis:

The power is directly transmitted to the skis via the core tower integrated in the compact heel unit. The large diameter of the core tower allows the broadest support of the system in this category.
