The K2 Orton is back and has done exactly what K2 had in mind: It has redefined the boundaries between freeride and freestyle snowboard boots. K2 team rider Sage Kotsenburg has put it through its paces - riding Alaska lines, hitting big kickers in the Jackson backcountry and making the whole of Brighton Resort his personal playground.

The Orton has a lot to offer. It comes with a clever closure system and a flexible shaft to keep the outer shoe in shape and provide stable heel hold. The lacing system of the outer shoe uses the H4/M3 Zonal BOA® Fit System with TX3 BOA® laces. The lacing system is operated at the top with an H4 Coiler BOA® dial, at the bottom with an M3 BOA® dial. This allows you to customize the upper and lower areas of the boot for the perfect fit. The outer shell is made of robust HDR Premium Synthetic material, which is durable and makes the boot last longer. Inside is K2's Intuition® Pro Foam 3D liner, which adapts to the shape of your foot and ankle. In addition, the manufacturer has integrated heat-reflective SpaceHeater™ material into the boot to keep your feet warm and dry.

Under your feet you will find K2's brand new Vibram® V5 outsole, which provides excellent grip and durability in all conditions. This Vibram® rubber compound consists of at least 30% recycled rubber - better for the environment. The V5 rubber sole is set on a midsole made of lightweight EVA and K2's special Harshmellow™ material to absorb shocks, increase cushioning and provide a comfortable ride when snowboarding.
