Product description

The ultra-light and durable touring pin binding for high alpine challenges with DIN settings up to 8, specifically optimized for light weight touring enthusiasts.

The ultra-light Alpinist 8 pin binding (245 g w/o brake) is optimized for lighter and specifically female ski tourers. A unique and softer heel spring supports easy entry and lowers the DIN range to 3-8. Besides that the Alpinist 8 is identical to the 9 and 12 models. It also offers active length compensation during ski flex and an impressive power transfer downhill due to a 38 mm drill pattern. The carbon-reinforced toe provides great stiffness and comes with anti-ice pads and integrated elastomers for easy stepping in. The heel features a climbing aid with 0°, 5° and 9° angle and allows super convenient switching between hike and ride mode. Very practical: Alpinist allows a +/- 7,5 mm heel adjustment to suit various sole/boot lengths!

Caution!

Marker Alpinist and Alpinist Long Travel ski bindings are compatible with ski boots in accordance with DIN ISO 0523 with tech inserts to the Dynafit specification of 29.09.2009. In addition, some boot manufacturers have developed and manufactured their own inserts for their touring ski boots which should be suitable fo Pin-Tech bindings. However, Marker cannot guarantee that these inserts will fundtion correctly.

Caution:

Marker Alpinist ski bindings do not have a certificate from TÜV and thus do not meet the relevant standards. The product meets the current technical requirements using the latest technology.

You are just ordering these bindings without the skis?

Then we ask you to state which size of brake you need and write us the desired brake width when ordering. If you are insecure or your ski is out of the designated widths, our ski hotline will advise you. Depending on the ski boot size and sidecut of your ski, the mounting point of the binding may change and thus the width of the ski may differ below the stopper.
