The Neo™ is the foundation of the Giro helmet collection and has become an instant classic. And not without reason: thanks to its in-mold construction, it is particularly light and can be perfectly adjusted to the shape of your head thanks to the In Form™ adjustment system with vertical adjustability. If you get too hot on the mountain, you can quickly cool down thanks to the Thermostat Control™ ventilation system.
Technical data
The in-mold construction fuses a robust polycarbonate outer shell with the shock-absorbing EPS inner shell. The in-mold process enables optimized ventilation systems. This means that in-mold helmets are lighter and better ventilated than conventional helmets.
Thermostat Control ventilation control allows you to individually adjust the airflow with a simple, unobtrusive control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or simpler and no other system is more effective at ensuring the right temperature in the helmet.
For a perfect helmet and goggle combination, Giro products are designed to provide a seamless interface between helmet and goggles for an exceptional fit and reliable function.
The Steck Vent was developed based on research that shows that most of the warm air that can cause goggle fogging escapes from the upper middle area of the goggle. By aligning the stack vent in the helmet with the ventilation opening of the ski goggles, the warm air from the goggle can escape through the helmet at the top, keeping the ski goggles clear and fog-free.
