Part of the ORTLIEB range since 2010, the Vario has undergone a complete make-over. The Vario is an extremely versatile product that cuts a fine figure both on and off the bike. A classic 26-liter volume pannier when on the bike, this bag can be transformed into a backpack in mere seconds. Switching between the two uses is made easy thanks to a reversible front pocket, which also sports an additional integrated zipped outer pocket. With the fastening system QL3.1 for attachment to the bike rack. It guarantees a secure fit on the bike to protect the contents of the bag on the way to work or school. The roll top closure of this waterproof hybrid enables quick and easy access to the main compartment, and an inside pocket with a laptop compartment offers further protection for precious digital cargo. The backpack is made of tear- and abrasion-resistant nylon fabric, and has a padded carrying system and ergonomic shoulder straps with woven-in reflective yarn — for comfort and visibility. The Vario is PVC-free and is, of course, sustainably produced in Germany
