The PIEPS iPROBE is the electronic probe with an acoustic and visual hit indicator that enables a faster companion rescue.

The electronic probe PIEPS iPROBE BT including Bluetooth capabilities, enables faster companion rescue thanks to it's acoustic and visual hit indication. The PIEPS iPROBE BT is automatically switched on when de-ployed and tensioned and automatically switched off when tension is removed.

The hit indication is possible with every transmitting beacon (according to standard EN300718). More time can be saved through the automatic sleep-mode of PIEPS beacons with iPROBE support. When probing with the PIEPS iPROBE BT a continuous signal and a steady light indicate a “hit”. Even if the buried person isn’t struck with the probe, this is the starting signal for digging!
