Product description

A kids’ warm, wind-resistant and water-repellent hybrid jacket with TirolWool® Responsive insulation.

This closer-fitting, hybrid insulation jacket is a favourite with Salewa's athlete team. It has tough Durastretch panels at the sleeves and sides that are tried and tested during alpine use, yet feels just so soft and comfortable on.

Kids often complain they are too cold one minute and too hot the next… sound familiar? Intense physical activity followed by static periods can bring the risk of overcooling. The thermoregulating Ortles Hybrid Jacket is designed to meet the specific insulation needs that children have at different areas of the body during high-octane activities in colder conditions.

The lightweight TirolWool® Responsive insulation combines innovative polyester fibres enhanced with thermoreactive minerals and wool sourced from Tyrolean sheep. Heat emitted by the body is absorbed and converted into infrared radiation, which is stored and reflected back – keeping the wearer warmer for longer. In addition, TirolWool® Responsive is water resistant, breathable and will still keep kids warm even when their jacket is soaking wet.

With two zipped hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket. There’s an insulated hood for extra protection, and this jacket has a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish for extra weatherproofing.
