The Zero G Tour Scout from Tecnica is a combination of ski touring and freeride boot.
This boot delivers performance both on the ascent and the descent. The T-Hike walking mechanism is more stable and easy to use with gloves. In addition, the double-blocking mechanism is self-adjusting thanks to a spring. Downhill, the touring boot maintains its stability with 4 buckles and impresses with 120 flex. If required, the anatomically shaped boot can be customized with the C.A.S. system for an optimum fit. The mid volume model with a 99 millimeter last has been developed according to the principles of eco design. PVC-free, recycled and less complex materials are used. This makes recycling possible at the end of the life cycle. The Vibram sole provides the necessary grip on foot.
The C.A.S. - Custom Adaptive Shape -Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

The T-Hike is a lighter interpretation of the Zero G Tour Double Blocking Mechanism. It offers strong, progressive flex and great lateral power transmission. The shell is connected to the cuff at two separate points, and once in hiking mode it guarantees unrestricted walkability. In addition, the internal spoiler delivers unique solidity to the boot on downhill.
Thanks to the Grilamid® shell, the Zero G Tour Pro is strong, powerful and smooth while skiing. The Power Frame construction increases stiffness and torsional resistance, allowing to reduce the thickness of the shell without loss of performance. The new Zero G Tour Pro features 10% more range of motion compare to the previous edition.
Tecnica's anatomically shaped liners and shells are the key to an optimal fit right from the first fitting. The better the liner and shell match the natural shape of the foot, the better the support and performance.

Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
The new hinge point allows frictionless hiking, so you can hike more with less energy.
The inserts of the Zero G make entry into all low-tech bindings easier. The inserts are positioned as far back as possible to improve walkability, and Quick-Step-in technology makes it easier to enter pin bindings.
The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.

PLASTIC WASTE IS A PROBLEM
The “Recycle Your Boots” project was born out of the awareness that people around the world produce huge amounts of waste. Plastic waste, in which we are literally in danger of sinking, is particularly problematic. When old ski boots have had their day, they often end up in landfill or are recycled for energy in incineration plants. Anyone can hand in their old pair of ski boots to us, regardless of the brand. Tecnica will then fully recycle the old pair in a transparent and sustainable process.

With its “Recycle Your Boots” project, Tecnica is kick-starting the circular economy for the ski boot industry. Tecnica's collection and recycling initiative has been awarded by the LIFE program - the EU's financial instrument for the environment and climate action - and the project is already being implemented in eight European countries this winter season.
