The Matera bike vest offers ambitious cyclists excellent wind protection wherever they go. Weighing in at just 99 grams, it can be compactly stored in its own back pocket. A breathable stretch mesh insert at the back ensures excellent freedom of movement. The recycled, wind-resistant primary material features our water resistant, dirt repellent Eco Finish, is very breathable and dries quickly. Reflective logos along with stretch cuffs and waistband comfortably round off this multi-talented vest. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials. As a member of the independent Fair Wear organization with Leader Status, VAUDE is committed to fair working conditions and fair wages. In addition, this product is climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and systematically reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization myclimate.

PFCs are part of a group of chemical compounds which are used to waterproof the outer layer of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, bioaccumulative and toxic, and suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely renouncing PFCs.
