Product description

The ultra-versatile, high-tech all-mountain racer – perfect for high speeds.

The Master edition of the Peregrine 76 with tip and tail rocker offers riders a contrasting dimension of direct steering and tip response. With an ash core (which is usually reserved for our World Cup models), two layers of Titanal with 3D.Glass and a tailored carbon tip, this ski is packed with the collective expertise of Völkl’s engineers. The tailored carbon tip produces an extremely direct and reliable tip response. The carbon fibres are positioned differently on each model and laid down at particular angles, which allows each length of ski to be tuned precisely to the needs of a highly ambitious, aggressive yet effortless riding style. The Peregrine 76 Master offers a highly competitive but at the same time playful skiing experience at high speeds with a maximum of creativity. For maximum performance, the skis also come with a pre-mounted 10 mm Marker World Cup plate.

The COMP 16 GripWalk® high-performance binding for ambitious on-piste skiers is now also suitable for GripWalk soles.

This enables the greatest possible walking comfort, easy step-in, and excellent grip in the binding. The Comp 16 GripWalk® black is manufactured exclusively with the highest quality components. The one-part Comp toe piece features magnesium components as well as error-forgiving absorbers underneath. The Comp absorber reliably absorbs short, hard shocks and permanently centres the ski boot in the binding.

World Cup Ash Woodcore
World Cup Ash Woodcore:

The high-quality core made of solid ash, which extends over the entire length of the ski, is a technical highlight that has great impact on the skiing characteristics. The particularly elastic hardwood is being used in our racing skis for World Cup athletes and even the Master models and acts as an energy accumulator: while the ski flexes when initiating the turn, the fibers stretch and absorb the tension energy. At the exit of the turn, this accumulated energy is released, giving the ski a lively feel. Due to the specific suppleness of ash wood, the ski also adapts optimally to the surface. This results in the greatest possible stability and reliability, which makes the ski particularly smooth.

Tailored Carbon Tips
Tailored Carbon Tips:

In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.

Full Titanal
Full Titanal:

The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.

Full Sidewall
Full Sidewall:

Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.

3D.Glass
3D.Glass:

Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

1 3D.GLASS IS INTEGRATED IN THE TIP AND TAIL OF THE SKI

  • flat glass under the binding making the center softer
  • variable turning at any speed

2 GLASS ABOVE THE SIDEWALL

  • providing additional support for superior edge grip on icy slopes

3 VERTICAL GLASS IN TIP & TAIL AREA

  • more pop for faster edge to edge changes
Tip & Tail Rocker
Tip & Tail Rocker:

Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.

P-Tex 4504
P-Tex 4504:

A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on the top of the Völkl line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.
