Product description

With the Peregrine 82, Völkl has developed a model that at 82 mm underfoot meets skiers ever changing needs without neglecting the fun of skiing: more stable and resistant to the ever changing conditions, making skiing in the resort effortless and easier to turn.

The Peregrine 82 excels on both icy slopes and fresh snow, delighting experienced skiers with its performance. (The Peregrine 82 skis as well on icy slopes as on fresh snow, bringing a smile to the face of experienced skiers.)Thanks to the unique Völkl Tailored Carbon Tips the ski provides more agility for quick short turns in changing conditions. In addition, the 3D Radius Sidecut supports the versatility for a playful skiing. The combination of the new tip geometry plus the integrated Tailored Titanal Frame results in a more direct, precise & reliable handling with highest stability. Marker and Völkl teamed up to construct the specific LowRide XL binding with GripWalk which allows great power transfer and edge grip due to the extra low stand height.

The Lowride 13 FR is a performance freeride binding with very low stand height for improved performance and maximum agility.

Lowride is one of the most versatile freeride binding systems, with which the binding is extremely elegantly integrated into the ski without a plate. It uses Triple Pivot Elite toe as well as an Inter Pivot 3 heel, both of which are lighter and stiffer than previous models and offer improved step-in comfort. The system offers a particularly low stance height, which allows above-average agility, fast edge changes and excellent power transmission. With a Z-score up to 13, it is suitable for intermediates as well as experts. The Anti Ice Rail is helpful to scrape off ice and snow under the sole effortlessly. Multinorm technology allows the use of both alpine and touring ski boots.

Multilayer Woodcore
Multilayer Woodcore:

The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.

Full Sidewall
Full Sidewall:

Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.

3D Radius Sidecut
3D Radius Sidecut:

Three radii in one ski for macimum truning and speed versatility in AllMountain skiing.

LONG TIP & TAIL RADIUS Usage of long radii at tip and tail for big turns and high speed

  • easy steering and maneuverability
  • disruption resistant at the tip
  • no radius limitation and ease of turn exit

TIGHT CENTER RADIUS Usage of shorter radius in the center for short turns and lower speed

  • extremely easy to initiate short turns
  • strikingly agile
  • effortless and smooth in short turns
3D.Glass
3D.Glass:

Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

1 3D.GLASS IS INTEGRATED IN THE TIP AND TAIL OF THE SKI

  • flat glass under the binding making the center softer
  • variable turning at any speed

2 GLASS ABOVE THE SIDEWALL

  • providing additional support for superior edge grip on icy slopes

3 VERTICAL GLASS IN TIP & TAIL AREA

  • more pop for faster edge to edge changes
Tailored Titanal Frame
Tailored Titanal Frame:

The new Völkl key technology is called Tailored Titanal Frame. In contrast to the previous design, the width of the titanal frame is now adapted exactly to each individual ski length.

This results in Tailored Titanal Frames, which are positioned above the sidewall along the tip and tail area of the ski to provide the desired damping and torsional stiffness. The size of the frames is tailored to the skier's height, skiing ability and power. This means that longer ski models have a higher titanal content for more stiffness, more direct power transmission and stronger dampening. The shorter the length, the lower the titanal content, which makes the ski more agile, so that smaller, lighter and less powerful skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski.

Tailored Carbon Tips
Tailored Carbon Tips:

In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.

P-Tex 4504
P-Tex 4504:

A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on the top of the Völkl line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.

Tip & Tail Rocker
Tip & Tail Rocker:

Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
