Völkl YUMI 84 FLAT 23/24
Product description
With a 3D radius sidecut and width of 84 mm at the waist, the Yumi is playful and easy to ski on.
The Yumi features tip and tail rockers and measures 84 mm beneath the boot, and its 3D radius sidecut makes it easy and playful to turn. This latest model is the first to combine a glass frame construction with Titanal beneath the binding. Its Titanal binding construction gives it stability and allows it to transfer power without being unnecessarily heavy; a glass frame reinforces the important zones of the ski. As a result, the ski feels more lively yet softer. That said, it can still be pushed really hard without requiring much force. This ski has always appealed to a very broad target group because of its enormous range of uses. Improved on-piste properties and the option of straying away from the groomed runs now and again make the ski even more appealing.

The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.
Three radii in one ski for macimum truning and speed versatility in AllMountain skiing.
LONG TIP & TAIL RADIUS Usage of long radii at tip and tail for big turns and high speed
- easy steering and maneuverability
- disruption resistant at the tip
- no radius limitation and ease of turn exit
TIGHT CENTER RADIUS Usage of shorter radius in the center for short turns and lower speed
- extremely easy to initiate short turns
- strikingly agile
- effortless and smooth in short turns
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
A thin Titanal layer (0,3 mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski. This way the binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions.
A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
BRUSHED base structure on flat skis with wider widths Superficial & shallow structure matches with wide skis and their bigger bearing face › optimum agility & turning characteristics.
- Less catching
- Easier & smooth turn initiation
Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
